UT AUSTIN GRADUATE SHORT FILM: MARIA!
NATIONWIDE CASTING CALL
LOOKING FOR:
Marianita (Female, 31-35 years old, latinx) is a latina immigrant, kind and compassionate. She works really hard as a live-in nanny to support her own family that she only gets to see during the weekends. LANGUAGES: English and Spanish.
Oli (Male, 10-12 years old) is an only child, lover of videogames and of Marianita’s peanut butter sandwiches, he finds himself discovering a new facet of his nanny when he meets her son, Ale. LANGUAGES: English.
Ale (Male, 8-10 years old, latinx) is Marianita’s son, he is very independent for his age, curious and an adventurer. Never afraid of being alone. LANGUAGES: English and Spanish.
COMPENSATION: Paid. Travel allowance if applicable.
AUDITION DATES: Nov. 5th to 7th, IN PERSON.
SHOOTING DATES: February 2022 (TBD dates) – Availability for rehearsals January 2022.
SHOOTING LOCATION: Austin, TX.
