As part of our Term 4 specs at The London Film School, we are making ‘White Lands’ happen. Written/directed by me, this 10-minute black-and-white short is a Western set in 1870’s Tennessee. A young African American woman, Cela, lives with her father Presley, whose political activities cause the KKK to come after them…
We will be filming both in a studio as well as couple of locations around London; we expect to shoot in end of Feb-beginning of March(Production to proceed under strict COVID guidelines)
Casting is now open for:
– Cela (female, 18-25, African American) English speaker/American accent.
– Presley, (male, 42-50, African American), English speaker/American accent.
– Carson, (male 45-52, Caucasian), English speaker/Southern American accent.
– Preston (male 18-25, Caucasian), English speaker/Southern American accent.
